Blu-ray and HD DVD are both close to being distributed in form of movies and in order for this to work, of course something to play the discs with are needed. Sony will, not unexpected, go hard, backed by MGM with loads of re-releases of old movies. Or what about The Fifth Element, Resident Evil Apocalypse, For a Fistful of Dollars, The Guns of Navarone, Kung Fu Hustle, House of Flying Daggers among others? Paramount will also release about ten movies, but to the both formats; Sahara, Aeon Flux, Tomb Raider, Sleepy Hollow and so on. Twentieth Century Fox has more than the doubled amount of movies set for release to both formats too; Ice Age, Kiss of the Dragon for example. It looks as if it might become a nice springtime in other words.
