LiteOn is one of the world’s biggest manufacturers in optical units. Their support is worth a lot to the upcoming blue laser formats, HD DVD and Blu-ray. LiteOn has never hinted in anyway whatsoever to which format they will favor and it has looked as if they are going to launch products with support for both factors, but in different units, of course. Now it looks like it’s exactly what is going to happen and these units would in that case be available during the summer.
