Playstation 3 arrives at the end of the year in NA and Europe

Playstation 3 has just as so far not been granted an official launch date. Sony seemed very eager to relrease the console early during 2006, but all the reports we’ve received have made us doubt this. The latest is a spinoff of yet another analysts thoughts on what is possible. According to Even Wilson at Pacific Crest Securities we’re talking about a launch in Japan during the middle of the year and before Christmas in North America and finally spring 2007 in Europe. GamesIndustry.biz was sceptical to this and has published some more reliable facts and based on this it seems that we will see the new console before Christmas in both Europe and North America, even though the margin may be thin.
