Yesterday we reported about AMD’s new platform Socket AM2 and the prices of motherboards with these circuits. Now it seems that one of the first Socket AM2 motherboards have been caught on camera. It is a motherboard by MSI that seems to go by the name K9N Platinum and is made for Socket AM2. We can clearly see the new 940 pin socket and the four DDR2-SDRAM slots. Except for this there is support for SLI and on the pictures you can also see that the chipset is branded MCP55, which is expected to be NVIDIA’s high performance chipset for Socket AM2. :: More pictures of MSI K9N Platinum
