Intel present quad core processor

Intel will according to recent information reveal its first quad core processors this Friday and the chip has gone by the name Clovertown. This processor will not be launched for another 12 months but as the processors consists out of two dual core Woodcrests cores things are looking quite promising before the launch. With this presentation Intel manages to beat AMD to it when it comes demo a quad core CPU, something AMD has supposedly run inside its labs since October 2005, but has chosen not to reveal it to the public. Who that will actually be the first to release a quad core on to the market remains to see.
