Microsoft and DirecTV sports TV and movies for Xbox 360

Microsoft has together with DirecTV announced a longtime cooperation to broaden the use and availability for digital media inside the home. This agreement includes among others an integration of DirecTV with Microsoft’s video game console Xbox 360. Microsoft hasn’t released any details about how DirecTV’s services will be integrated, but unofficial informations states that there will be a new tab at Xbox 360’s dashboard for DirecTV that will make it possible to download high resolution TV episodes as HD movies. Also streaming of traditional TV broadcasts is suppose to be an option but s far there is no official information.
