Apple launch Intel based Mac mini this week

Apple is expected to launch a new series of Mac mini systems during a special event this week. As expected the new series is based on Intel’s new processor platform and most likely the new models will use Intel’s Core Solo as Apple has always been targetting the budget segment with its Mac mini. We are awaiting Core Duo models as well though, as it would then become a very interesting Media Center alternative. Apple’s special event is expected to happen tomorrow, 28 February, so we should be able to tell you more very soon.
