OCZ Technology and Corsair Memory are bitter rivals on the RAM market and yesterday we reported about Corsair’s PC3500LL Pro modules that by using Infineon Rev C. memory chips was able to offer aggressive latencies at 2-3-2-6 despite the modules high density at 1GB á piece. Now it seems that OCZ has just been waiting for such a move and has now countered with two new memory modules with even more aggressive latencies. First we have OCZ PC-3200 Platinum Revision 2 XTC, which are 512MB modules with specified latencies at 2-2-2-5 at DDR400. PC-3200 Platinum Edition XTC are the other modules that OCZ, as usual, will make available as both single and dual kits. these modules has a capacity at 1GB and work at 2-3-2-5 at DDR400 speeds, a tiny bit faster than Corsair’s PC-3500LL Pro.
