Sapphire X1600 Pro HDMI appeared in the news a few weeks ago and what was basically rumours back then but has now become reality as it has been confirmed by Sapphire. Sapphire has in a press release revealed that its HDMI capable X1600 Pro will be displayed at CeBIT this week. Sapphire X1600 Pro HDMI will be the first HDMI capable card based on the latest graphics circuit to arrive on the market and it expects that the card will be available in stores in April. As we’ve reported earlier the card sport both picture and sound through its HDMI interface, with HDCP support. The low profile card will be a perfect card for HTPC users that is longing for the HDMI interface and with ATI’s AVIVO technology this should be a pretty decent choice. Source: Sapphire
