Samsung SCH-B600 is one out of hundreds of mobile phones being displayed at CeBIT. That means you will really have to have something extra to stand out and that is exactly what SCH-B600 has. It is namely the first mobile phone sporting a 10 megapixel (!) digital camera module. 10 megapixel is much, much more than most dedicated digital cameras can show off with and this really is a camera phone. At Engadget they’ve got the opportunity to play around a little with the new fellow and despite its huge camera sensor and optics Samsung has managed to keep the phone quite slim. On the front it looks like just like any other phone, while on the back just like any other compact camera.
The phone will most likely never make it outside of Asia, but Sony Ericsson has at least revealed two new camera phones with 3.2 megapixel digital camera. Perhaps not as impressive, but still more than enough for most people.
