Foxconn launch its own video cards – 7900 GT and 7900 GTX

Foxconn Electronics is one of the biggest computer component manufacturers in Taiwan and it has contracts with many smaller manufacturers selling Foxconn products under its own brand. However, Foxconn has now decided to enter the video card market with its own brand by revealing both GeForce 7900 GT and 7900 GTX based video cards at CeBit. Foxconn has also announced that it will sell ATI based cards as it wants to really create a broad base for its new market. The first cards will arrive sometime during the first six months of 2006 and whether this will hurt Foxconn’s other partners such as Leadtech and Tul remains to be seen.
