ViewSonic VX2025wm: 20″ widescreen LCD monitor

ViewSonic VX2025wm is just as many monitors at 20″ and more a widescreen model, something we will see more and more of during 2006. ViewSonic’s new creation VX2025wm is the first VX model using a widescreen panel and it has also taken the opportunity to fit speakers into the frame to strengthen the intention towards multimedia capable computers. Even if this is perhaps a feature that many would do well without it hasn’t harmed the design of the monitor, which is quite clean and when it comes to the specifications VX2025wm is up to par with the competition. The 20″ panel has a resolution at 1680x1050px, a contrast ratio at 800:1 and a response time at 8ms.

VX2025wm is equipped with both analog and digital input, alas no support for HDCP, which is a disappointment. Especially with a monitor with such an obvious multimedia focus as this one. The monitor is already available in stores at about $420.
