NVIDIA recently signed another design contract with Sony, a contract that according to NIVIDA will generate even more money than the graphics circuit for Sony’s PlayStation 3 did. The contract for the PS3 circuit generated NVIDIA about $30 million and was payed as the circuit was developed. The new contract will generate even more and is suppose to last all the way into 2007. NVIDIA did not want to specify exactly what the contract was about, or even what product, but in the end it will only be a small part of NVIDIA’s annual revenue at expected $2.8 billion.
