Hackers admit Xbox 360 hack useless

The group of hackers that managed to get past Microsoft’s security inside Xbox 360 and make it play a burned game from a regular DVD-R has now admitted that the hack is more or less useless. The hack and video it has published are genuine and there is no doubt it has succeeded, the problem is what you require to get past the security inside Xbox 360, which isn’t just hard to do, it may also cause permanent damage to the console and even render it useless. Just as we’ve indicated earlier this is not the Xbox 360 hack that will lead to a blooming chip culture with the Xbox 360, but on the other hand we will most likely see more hacks later on, but the question is if these will also be as “useless” and if Microsoft has really succeeded in securing its console, hindering it from ending up like the predecessor.
