Quadro FX is the name of NVIDIA’s series of professional graphics circuits and now the series has been extended to include a new set of circuits. Three new mobile graphics circuits intended for mobile work stations where Dell will be the first to launch products with the new circuits; Dell Precision M65 and M90. We have earlier reported about NVIDIA Quadro FX NVS, which was intended for mobile workstations as well, but then mainly 2D applications, the new circuits in the Quadro FX aeries are made with demaning 3D applications in mind. The new circuits have various specifications with one lighter model and two for the heavier and more demanding tasks.

The difference between the three circuits is that Quadro FX 350M only has a 64-bit memory interfeace and 256MB of memory. While 1500M/2500M comes with a 256-bit interface and 256MB/512MB graphics memory.
