NVIDIA‘s Quad SLI video cards with its two GeForce 7900 circuits are used in pairs to create a Quad SLI systems and are in turn very hard to find. One problem with the cards is that they are way too long to fit into most normal cases. However, now we’ve received information that says that NVIDIA is working on increasing the supply and reducing the size of the cards. It’s the cards that will be sold on the consumer market that will be slimmer and manufactured in larger numbers. According to The Inquirer NVIDIA is namely working on GeForce 7950 GTX 2, which will be the name of the new Quad SLI card. These cards will be both shorter and easier to find. However there will still be rather few cards made, but with a pricetag at €600 ($725) the demand shouldn’t be all that high though. Source: The Inquirer
