Super Talent launch FB-DIMM DDR2 modules

Super Talent is one of the memory manufacturers that has jumped onto the new memory technology FB-DIMM, Fully Buffered DIMM, that will be able to offer new possibilities for servers with very high demands for memory capacity and bandwidth. Super Talent has released three different FB-DIMM DDR2 modules at 533MHz and 667MHz speeds where the density is at 1GB and 2GB for the three modules.

– S1GTF8AKS 533MHz / PC2-4300 1GB FB DIMM
– S2GTF8AKS 533MHz / PC2-4300 2GB FB DIMM
– S1GTF8AMS 667MHz / PC2-5400 1GB FB DIMM

FB-DIMM will become more and more common on the server market and the interest for the technology show that the memory capacity is extremely important with these systems.
