AMD changes release date of AM2 – confirmed

0

Some days ago we reported that AMD might change its release date of the new socket AM2 CPUs from 6’th of June to May the 23. AMD is going to release its product and pricing roadmap, covering their energy efficient CPUs on May the 16. Later on, May the 23 to be more precise, the desktop CPU product and pricing roadmap will appear. And last but not least, on May the 31, AMD will announce the global availiability of their new desktop systems. The reason why AMD are releasing its CPUs earlier is that both CPUs and motherboards are ready and in full production. It seems that AMD is going to get a good start with its AM2 CPUs, but you never know.
