Spam is something we faithful Internet users have to handle each day and earlier the big bad guy has been North America. Two years ago about half of all the spam came from North America, but today Asia has moved up on-top. 42.8% of all spam is coming from Asia today while North America supplies 25.6% of the crap. Europe is said to be on the way of surpassing North America according to security company Sophos, a less flattering achievement. Seen to individual countries USA is still be biggest spammer with 23.1%, but China and Hong Kong is just a short step behind at 21.9%.

One reason that a great load of spam is sent though China is that many users are using older computers with bad protection against spam, which makes it easy to use them to spread the spam further.
