Apple’s iTMS price(s) stay

Apple has been under pressure from the music industry regarding its iTunes Music Store. It is Apple’s prices that is pretty strict, all songs simply costs 99cent, that has been questioned and the music industry wanted more flexible prices where new hit songs would cost more than 99cent and older songs less. Apple wasn’t impressed by the record companies’ suggestion and Steve Jobs even called them greedy to earn some points with the consumers. Apple has now announced that it has signed a new deal with the record companies where the prices will remain the same, and hopefully the contract will last.

“We’ve renewed our agreements with the major music companies and we’re pleased to continue offering iTunes customers music at 99 cents per song from a library of over 3 million songs,”
