ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 launched

ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 has now been officially launched by the Taiwanese motherboard giant and since the first rumors about ASUS cooperation with Lamborghini in October 2005 many have been longing for more information. We have since then seen both pictures and loose specifications of ASUS Lamborghini-inspired computer that just made the longing worse. ASUS has now officially launched its first Lamborghini laptop; ASUS-Lamborghini VX1. Just as expected the computer use Intel’s Core Duo processor, a T2500 model. The physical design will, of course, match the supercar and the 15″ case is according to ASUS suppose to very durable and above all light. This is not a laptop that focus solely on performance and force you to use a carriage to carry it along, but a convenient computer with good performance.




ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 is available today at the neat price €2799 ($3500). The complete specifications are as follows;

– CPU: Intel Core Duo Processor T2500

– WLAN: Intel 3945ABG
– LCD Screen: Colour Shine Glare Type 15″ SXGA + (1400 x 1050)

– HDD: 120GB
– ODD: DVD 9.5″ Super-Multi Double Layer
– RAM: 1GB DDRII – 667 MHz
– OS: Windows XP Professional



Now we’re just waiting for a comparison with Acer’s Ferrari series, which should become an interesting roundup. Especially as Acer use AMD’s processor platform.
