Ferrari F1 has one of its biggest sponsors in AMD and the PC manufacturer Acer has used AMD’s platforms with its Ferrari family of laptops. But now proof of that Ferrari isn’t as faithful to AMD’s Turion 64 platform as one might think. You can clearly see how a Ferrari technician has connected a Centrino-based laptop to one of the company’s F1 cars to survey its computer system. Not a threat to world peace exactly nor indications that Ferrari is tired of AMD as a sponsor, but this entertaining picture will most likely result in a “tell-off” or two for a certain technician.
