GeCube is one of the manufacturers that has announced it will start shipping video cards based on ATI’s graphics circuit Radeon X1900GT. ATI made the official launch yesterday and Tul had already sent out a press release the day before with its PowerColor Radeon X1900GT. GeCube’s alternative seems to be more or less identical to ATI’s reference design and the PowerColor card Tul has launched. The frequencies are 575MHz GPU and 1.2GHz for the 256MB graphics memory. It uses ATI’s single-slot cooler which we will most likely see with most X1900GT-based video cards that will arrive.
The only price mentioned is ATI’s recommended price at $299, but hopefully GeCube could lower these somewhat, while we are still waiting for the first “unique” X1900GT card.
“Bundled with a full edition Delta Force Xtreme 3D game for more fun and entertainment comes “Target, 2 clicks out. Lock n’ load. Let’s look alive gentlemen.” RoHS Compliant The X1900GT product do not contain any of the restricted substances in concentrations and applications banned by the RoHS Directive, and are capable of being worked on at the higher temperatures required for lead free solder.”
