VoodooPC has just as AMD and Intel ventured into the Formula 1 circus as it has now signed a deal with the new Formula 1 team Scuderia Torro Rosso. The team was earlier known as Minardi, but was was later on acquired and renamed by Red Bull. Scuderia Torro Rosso is hardly the hottest name of the industry, but Formula 1 is still Formula 1 and VoodooPC will be one of the team’s official sponsors. VoodooPC has also launched special models of its computers branded with Scott Speed. Scott Speed is one of the Scuderia Torro Rossos’s drivers and the first american to drive in the Formula 1 series since 1993. Exactly how VoodooPC’s and Scuderia Torro Rossos’s cooperation will work is not very clear at this time, but it is still a great investment for a relatively small company such as VoodooPC.
