Windows Vista and its specifications is a hot topic if anything. Microsoft tried to ease our pains somewhat by launching a new branding, Windows Vista Capable, but that didn’t calm us much as it only guaranteed that the absolute minimum requirements was met. Then it actually revealed the official requirements for Vista and even if people weren’t exactly cheering it did calm the masses a little. At the same time Microsoft launched a program called Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor. A small and convenient program that would determine whether your computer met the reuirements for Windows Vista, or not. There is a problem with the program though and that is that the bar is set very high and this means that even the most high-end monster computers could fail a Vista validation. Microsoft has now promised to look over the program. Until then you should rely on the specifications that was published in written form not too long ago.
