NEC has launched a new widescreen monitor in its MultiSync 70 series called LCD2070WNX. The new monitor measures 20.1″ and has a 1680×1050 px resolution, standard for this size. Other specifications are set to 10ms response time, 500:1 contrast ratio and a brightness at 300 cd/m2. You also get an integrated USB hub with four outputs and a monitor stand which you can twist, turn and angle as you please. NEC MultiSync LCD2070WNX sports both analog and digital inputs, but whether the DVI input supports HDCP signals or not is uncertain. The monitor will be made available soon in two different appearances, silver/white and black. The recommended price is 449 dollar and looks quite interesting for those with a limited budget looking for a large monitor.
