Leopard will contrary to Microsoft’s coming Windows Vista be faster than the previous operating system. Exactly how much is impossible to say by now, but that it is at least an initiativ of the right sort we can all agree on. Although Apple’s operating systems are hardly known for their speed we should hope that the launch that will happen during WDC (World Developers Conference) shows that Apple has taken a step, a big such hopefully, in the right direction, but whether it will be fast or not remains to be seen. Microsoft still hasn’t supplied us with a specific date for Windows Vista and this is hardly good news for the company.
