eBay owns PayPal, a service many thought Google was out to challenge with its new service Google Checkout. This was denied by Google dueing the launch and its said it inly wanted to ease the online shoppers doings. That Checkout is a very convenient way of shopping and that it is good alternative to PayPal is probably something mroe than a few have realized. Following this eBay has now updated its list of unauthorized payment methods adding Google Checkout for an unknown reason, but that it would be because of anything but fear that Checkout would become a threat to PayPal we have a hard time believeing.
