KinderStart earlier sued Google for using its position on the market as the leading search engine and lowering KinderStart’s page rank and therefore have cripple KinderStart’s numbers of visitors considerably. Similar cases have appeared before and as we said in the previous post these have ended in in a dislike from the court. So did also this one. The judge did leave a possibility for KinderStart to rephrase its accusations and it most likely will. What really worries us here is what this could do for the page rank system and if this will still have the same weight and above moral value if Google’s people deicdes to change any values manually when they feel like it. Perhaps you will even be capable of buying page ranks similar to what Microsoft offers with its search engine?
