Dell seems to continue to widen its work with AMD and as earlier rumors have stated it will not stop with just launching server systems using AMD’s processor platform. Now it seems that we will see laptops from Dell using AMD’s processors already during the fourth quarter. It will be 15.4″ and 17″ models using Turion 64 X2 processors but also mobile Sempron and Athlon 64 models. It’s also rumored that stationary AMD systems are on the way and would this information be correct the Dell-Intel era is, if not over, changed forever.
