Microsoft is according to recent rumors just suppling large retailers with information about its new portable media player Zune. When more people find out about a product leaks get harder and harder to prevent, and once again they’ve appeared. Thus detailed information about Microsoft Zune has apeared and among other things we get it confirmed that the player will sport Wi-Fi, but that it will only be for a connection to a PC, and no direct music service which we’ve heard rumors about. The model that will be launched this fall will be available in three different colors, with a 30GB harddrive and a display larger than that found with Apple’s iPods.
Earlier information has hinted at a price of 399 dollar for Microsoft’s portable media player, but according to the information that the site TWICE has gotten their hands on the retail price will be considerably more humane; 299 dollar. The retailers that have recevied information by Microsoft are also said to be very pleased with the player’s price/functionality.
