VIA has now launched a new series of VIA Epia motherboard known as the EK series. The new motherboards sports the new Luke CoreFusion processors that will result in 35% less power consumption, mpeg2/4 hardware decoding and 6 channel sound on the board. The platform will be available at 1GHz, with fan, or 800GHz fanless. Other than that we can expect the regular connectors, which include a DVI output. An even better alternative for a small and above all quiet HTPC.
