Linus Torvalds is to the recently born the man behind the core of the operating systems called Linux. The fact is that the name Linux comes from his first name, Linus, and he has a person grown to become a cult figure among Linux followers, even though this is something he doesn’t really enjoy as stated in a recently published interview with RedHerring. They focus on how Linux will be able to continue its development. Among others, he says that large companies such as RedHat and IBM haven’t undermined the the movement but rather given it strength, which was something that many were very sceptical of when they entered the market.
