Intel has released its first motherboard based on the Q963 chipset. The special about Q963 is that it comes with Intel’s GMA 3000 circuit integrated and of course sports the Socket 775 platform. The motherboard only has three PCI-E 1x slots and three regular PCI slots, thus it does not have a real graphics card port. A Gigabit port and six channel sound is available together with ten USB ports and a single PATA channel, except from the regular ports then. A motherboard designed for smaller desktops without any real demands on performance or graphics, I.e. a perfect office PC solutions.
