ATI Radeon X1950XTX has so arrived. ATI’s R580+ circuit equipped with GDDR4 memory and an improved layout for more efficient power consumption. And then we shouldn’t forget about the new cooler. Our own tests have shown that this cooler is a big step forward for ATI and it plays in a completely different league than the previous coolers. Earlier leaked benchmarks have spoken of a great advantage for X1950XTX Crossfire over 7950GX2 Quad-SLI, but, alas, most tests says the contrary: that NVIDIA still has a small, perhaps very small, advantage.
Unfortunately we’re not ready to publish our review of the X1950XTX yet as we’ve been extraordinary busy lately. We promise to have it ready as soon as possible though as we know have some really good information to offer you.
