NAND flash has become one of the hottest memory technologies on the market and has now managed to attract yet another actor. Chaintech, earlier known for its motherboards and graphics cards, has ventured on to the memory market and now plans to broaden its product assortment to include NAND flash memory. Walton Chaintech will however wait before launching any products until the prices have stabilized. Chaintech’s RAM assortment already makes up half of the company’s sales and its new focus on memories will only expand in the future and at the same time it will phase out its motherboard assortment.
