Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 has now been released by Mozilla after that it had previously announced that the Beta 2 version would be delayed. Now that it has released the second beta version of Firefox 2 it is only for testing and it doesn’t recommend that regular users should necessarily install this version as it may be incompatible with extensions and such. For those who feel eager to try out the new version of FF there are some nice new features to enjoy. Mozilla has improved the user interface with some nice graphical effects, but it’s mainly the non-cosmetic improvements that really speaks to us.
Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 comes with an integrated protection against phishing and an improved search function which is easier to use. Mozilla has also improved the tabbed browsing and integrated a spellcheck function. More information about the new functions of FF 2.0 Beta 2 can be found at Mozilla.org.
