Not too long ago we reported about how one of the founders of NetBSD, Charles M. Hannum, had written a mail to the BSD community where he shared his view on the status of NetBSD. The picture he drew wasn’t pretty and more than a few got concerned, some even startled, over the status NetBSD seemed to be in. ONLamp has now pulished an interview with Hannum where he gets to further expand his already rather long mail. You also get a good overview on how the project started, developed up till today and why the NetBSD project looks the way it does today.
