Xbox 360 will as expected gain a very interesting accessory soon. The external HD DVD player we’ve reported about has now been blessed with its first official launch date by Microsoft’s Japanese section. Microsoft Co. Ltd has namely announced that the HD DVD unit will be launched on November 22 and the price is looking quite promising. It has namely been set to 20,790 Yen which is about $180 (maybe an official price at $199?). The fact that Microsoft has chosen such an aggressive pricing makes it look really promising. The first stationary HD DVD players namely costs about $500. Now we just want Microsoft to realize there is a market in Europe as well.
