Blu-ray has just started to appear on the market in the form of viewable material, a number of movies have appeared and Samsung delivered the first player at the beginning of June. Now it seems that Matsushita, the company behind the name Panasonic, will be first to launch a recordable Blu-ray player. It is not an internal unit for PCs but a stationary unit. Matsushita has announced that it will launch two different Blu-ray recorders on November 15 in Japan. The prices are far from encouraging though, $2045 dollar and $2556 for the deluxe model.
