A closer look at the Vista features of ASUS’ new motherboards

ASUS earlier launched its Vista Edition motherboard series, which introduce some very interesting functions especially for Windows Vista. Among these we can see a flash memory which has been integrated on to the motherboard to sport the ReadyBoost technology, but also support for SideShow through ScreenDuo, which is a small LCD display you keep right next to you. Something which is not mentioned as often though is the support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM), one of the more heavily debated features of Vista and it is simply a form of encryption and enforce the protection of digital media. The Tech Report has taken a closer look at these functions and ASUS’ motherboard seem to be a nice investment for those who are thinking of using Microsoft’s latest operating system.
