A-DATA fight fake RAM with DNA

A-DATA has taken big precautions against the problems with fake  RAMs, which is a growing problem. To ensure consumers you will now be able to identify genuine A-DATA modules through a DNA authentication technology, which makes it a lot harder to copy the product label. The label is most of all very hard to remove without ruining it, while it also has a UV stamp. Last but not least the label holds a unique DNA sequence that A-DATA can identify in its lab.

This way both consumers and A-DATA can easily identify fake modules and remove them from circulation. Even if the problem is not very common here in the West it’s a bit tragic that a company has to resolve to these measures to protect itself against forgers. Hopefully it won’t affect the production costs to any significant degree.

“As a leading manufacturer of DRAM module in the industry, A-DATA is committed to offer the highest quality of DRAM module and solution to the consumers. Thus, we adopted the DNA authentication technology to protect our intellectual property and our consumers’ interests.”
