A-DATA PD7 Turbo Speed – Vista ReadyBoost ready USB memory

0

A-DATA is the next USB memory manufacturer to launch a new model intended for Windows Vista and its ReadyBoost technology. Just like Corsair’s TurboFlash A-DATA PD7 Turbo Speed is focusing on high transfer rates and fast data access, to optimize its functions as a harddrive cache. PD7 will according to A-DATA offer a read speed at 33MB/s and a write speed at 22MB/s, quite nice. At the same time the memory will be launched at capacities from 1GB and  all the way up to 8GB. The memory can be divided into parts so that you can use one part of it for regular storage while the rest is used for the ReadyBoost technology. There is no information about the price or availability, but a launch for PD7 Turbo Speed before Vista arrives at the end of January seems to be the goal.
