ABIT has as we earlier reported been bought by USI, one of Taiwan’s largest OEM and ODM manufacturers. With the help of USI ABIT will most likely be able to shorten its TTM (time-to-market), which has been way too long at some occasions, and hopefully be able to broaden its assortment at the same time. However it seems that we will not have the name ABIT left among us, which feels weird considering what a strong brand it is, at least among the enthusiasts. What the new name will, or if it will keep the old one, remains to see, but we will know for sure after the share holders meeting on March 10. Source: DigiTimes
