It’s always nice to see when companies take their jobs seriously and it’s not often we get to hear about how an employee at one of the companies, who claim to make enthusiast and overclocking products, really proves this. An employee at ABIT has namely taken an ABIT AW8D-MAX and paired it with an Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 965 and then clocked it to the neat speed of 5809MHz. We assume there is some sort of phase change cooling in use here, but we don’t know for sure. He is still a bit short of our own guru Crotale which, among other things, have overlocked a 955XE to 6609GHz, but it’s still nice to be able to report about an overlocking from a different perspective.
