Acer S222HQL is a 21.5″ monitor that is expected to appear at IFA Berlin 2010 in September. What makes it different from competing models, is not the 1080p resolution or LED backlighting, but the 12.9mm profile.
Acer has managed to built a slim monitor and despite the thin format S222HQL offers overall decent specifications. The monitor has 1920×1080 pixel resolution, 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 2ms response time.
Acer has equipped the monitor with both DVI and HDMI inputs and 250 cd/m2 brightness. Price and power consumptions were not revealed.
