Acer has been growing quite a lot the fast few years, while still behind of Dell and HP, it’s notebook business has been booming like no other. During the last few weeks rumors have been going around that Acer is in the market for an acquisition and not necessarily of a laptop manufacturer, but more of a SFF company, while we are now reached by other rumors that state that Shuttle is interested in selling itself to another company.
While this is just a rumor it is still a believable one as Shuttle could use the backing of a larger company, while Acer at the same time could use Shuttle’s SFF expertise.
