Aeneon is a rather unknown brand that was launched by the manufacturer Infineon before it changed the name of its memory section to Qimonda. The Aeneon series is still around though and Qimonda has now launched new modules called XTUNE in the Aeneon series. Aeneon XTUNE is designed for the DDR2 market and is specified to work at 1066MHz and sports Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) to improve performance and ease the pain of overclocking. The new XTUNE modules can be had with either 512MB and 1GB capacity and of course as kits of two modules.

At 1066MHz the modules are specified to work with 5-5-5-15 latencies and an operating voltage at 1.8V. The Aeneon modules have a been tricky to get a hold of in the past, but this will hopefully not apply to these. They should reach stores in May.
