About a week ago we reported about an article at HardOCP where they ask themselves whether AGEIA could succeed without a real big game sporting the technology to show what it really can do, so that PhysX would not be forgotten, before it even got some momentum. Now GD Hardware have published an article where they more or less reply to HardOCP’s article. They claim that AGEIA more or less already has the most important ingredients ready, among others games such as UT2007, Ghost Recon: AWF, and Rise of Nations: RoL. They compare AGEIA with 3Dfx that started the whole wave of 3D accelerated video cards, a situation to AGEIA’s. They also include a letter from Alienware’s VP, Frank Azor, that supports GD Hardware’s view on AGEIA and PhysX.
