AKG has announced a new wireless headset that makes the rest look like something the cat dragged in. AKG K 930 has a clean and Wii-esque design. The headphones comes with a rather impressive signal range thanks to an integrated PLL synthesizer tuner that provides clear transmitter range up to 100 m, which should be more than enough for most people. To make sure the signal is steady, the headphones also features automatic scanning and automatic gain control. The cups are semi-open, lightweight (only 180 g) and has a self-adjusting headband fitting all shapes and sizes, according to AKG. The headphones comes in retro white and high-gloss black.
They will be available in stores this November, and cost $149.
